Happy Halloween everybody!

Bridget O. as Oogie Boogie

Q1: What was your inspiration for your cosplay entry?

Disneyland Dapper Day! I wanted to create something that was unique and stylish.

Q2: Recall a favorite cosplay memory.

While volunteering at an event as Alice in Wonderland, a little girl saw me and charged at me full speed! She was SO excited to see a princess!

Q3: Share a fun Halloween tradition, or a new Halloween activity you look forward to trying.

I’m looking forward to staying in and watching spooky movies with my boo!

Q4: What cosplay project are you working on next?

Hmmm that’s to be determined!

Lovisa D. as Saber Lilly

Q1: What was your inspiration for your cosplay entry?

I knew I wanted to make some foam armor, and I thought Saber Lilly would be a great first try, not too difficult. Her dress is also so beautiful that it was a joy to sew.

Q2: Recall a favorite cosplay memory.

My favorite cosplay memory was doing a gathering on the beach. I was Ariel and even though it was cold, I met some new friends that day and we got some incredible photos.

Q3: Share a fun Halloween tradition, or a new Halloween activity you look forward to trying.

I recently started working as a performing character, so I’ll be entertaining kids at a Halloween event this year. It is going to be so much fun that I hope it becomes an annual event.

Q4: What cosplay project are you working on next?

Every Halloween I make a costume for this one particular client’s son, this year he wanted to be the White Power Ranger (last year he was the green one.) So that is what I’m working on now, after that I’m not sure.

Rai K. as Kanna

Q1: What was your inspiration for your cosplay entry?

I’ve always loved dragons since I was young (as you can tell by all my plushies). I also love anime, and so I decided to cosplay as an anime dragon, Kanna!

Q2: Recall a favorite cosplay memory.

I really loved this cosplay, because I dug all of my old dragon stuff toys out of storage and was able to remember all the good times I had with them!

Q3: Share a fun Halloween tradition, or a new Halloween activity you look forward to trying.

As a kid, I never carved pumpkins for Halloween, but once I went to college, my roommates would carve pumpkins so I joined them! It’s super fun so I hope to continue this tradition!

Q4: What cosplay project are you working on next?

I’m looking to cosplay another dragon girl, Nowi from Fire Emblem! She’s also super cute and I love her outfit. Here’s hoping I have the time and funds soon to work on it!
