The Webster Street Stage began over 25 years ago to promote the Bay Area’s contemporary musicians and performing artists.  It has provided Asian Americans and entertainers of various backgrounds a venue to showcase their talent. From hip-hop to reggae, jazz to Top 40 R&B, and acapella, the Webster Street Stage lineup has always been exciting to watch.  Come and enjoy a full day of music and fun!

The Aura Band

DO YOU FEEL THAT AURA AROUND YOU!!!  The newly revamped AURA is a collaboration of highly skilled musicians and uprising young talents whose music genre includes pop rock, top 40’s hit songs, and popular hits of the 80’s.  They may have come from different generations but when you hear them play, you cannot resist to groove and move with their music! Big City Revue

Drummer and bandleader Charles “Phil” Nicholas brings his “soul power crew” to the 2019 Cherry Blossom Stage!  Big City Revue recently performed shows with actor/comedian Ken Jeong. The band also backed up the Seattle recording artist, Alisa Galper, for the San Francisco Symphony Chinese New Year Gala!

D’Groove

In its standard configuration, D’Groove is an eight-piece band featuring a standard four-piece rhythm section.  Their soulful singing is combined with irresistible rhythms and fresh-rap-breaks showcasing their exciting power, range, and versatility – ensuring a night of high caliber entertainment and non-stop dancing.  The band’s grown and sexy front line and mature back line, and cultural diversity easily relates to audiences of all ages and backgrounds. Established since 1990, D’Groove’s simple concept of playing the latest dance tunes, most heartfelt ballads, classic old school, and favorite standards assures a good time for all.

Elima

Elima provides a harmonic and unique blend of music and vocals, wrapped up and delivered with melodic lines of supporting lead and rhythm guitars.  Our diverse background in music (from Rock, Musical Theatre, Bluegrass, Hawaiian, Blues, etc.) allows us to explore an eclectic range of genres and keeps us continuously growing as musicians.  Superb vocals combined with the smooth beat of the Arroyo Cajon and the rhythmic energy of Elima’s O’Neill Bass. There’s a little something for everyone in our music.

The Get Lucky Band

BOLD, STRONG, AND HIGHLY CONTAGIOUS!  Get Lucky is one of the hottest bands in the San Francisco Bay Area featuring vocalist Butch Lavin and Jae Buensucesco.  They play everything from Jazz Standards, Pop, R&B, Alternative, House & Retro while bringing a fresh, new vibe of entertainment to the Top 40 cover band scene.  ARE YOU READY TO GET LUCKY?  

Groove Foundation

The Groove Foundation was founded in 2008 by Drummer, Fred Torres. The band’s shared vision is to combine musical excellence with visual appeal, to provide the Groove Foundation’s clients with an unforgettable experience. Although the Groove Foundation is capable of playing many genres of music, including rock, jazz, and standards, the musical nucleus of The Groove Foundation is Top-40, R&B. The music is tight, and energetic, with a groove that’s sure to get the audience out of their seats, and on the floor!

Hawaiian Royalty Music

These seven talented musicians bring forth worthy positive reggae vibes with strong harmonies and dynamic transitions.  JD (percussionist; floats between guitar, bass, and keys), Kaluna (lead guitar with that east bay swag), Ray (ukulele and keys), Art (bass), and Kanoe (vocals) first came together in 2017 to form a group that showcases all their love for reggae music.  Mike was added as the drummer and Jay took the lead on Keyboards to make this collective even tighter. Keep an eye out for Hawaiian Royalty Music doing shows in the Bay Area!

Jest Jammin’

Led by the Rev. Norman Fong, Jest Jammin’ (aka “Chinatown Soul Band”) has entertained the public with their wide repertoire of music for over 50 years.  Norman, Brad Lum, Ed Toy, and friends got together and formed a band in 1968 and have officially called themselves Jest Jammin’ since 1971. They can be seen in numerous venues throughout Northern California, from college campuses to large public functions. The band members remain close friends and continue to enjoy accommodating requests to perform their energetic music.

The Mystifiers

The Mystifiers “old school reunion” continues bringing their unique mix of classic soul to the 2019 Cherry Blossom Festival!  Merging with band members from The Mellow Sounds along with original lead singer Bobby Seronio from Hawaii guarantees a fun packed musical set…  Can you dig it?

Native Elements

A San Francisco powerhouse, Native Elements has been keeping the energetic, feel-good reggae tradition alive in the Bay Area for over 20 years.  Comprised of nine seasoned musicians with decades of experience in rock, metal, blues, jazz and hip-hop, this eclectic and fearless crew fuses their unique influences into a contemporary, melodic, horn-driven party.  Each show takes their audience through improvisational peaks and valleys from blazing guitar solos to soaring saxophone wails while also delivering an authentic reggae foundation. Having grown up together since elementary school (playing in garage bands and skateboarding) in Daly City and South City, CA, Native Elements bring a uniquely warm experience to the stage that is both entertaining and uplifting.

San Jose-based band relativeKey, although new to the Bay Area Live Band Scene, is made up of seasoned musicians and vocalists.  All of the members started their musical journey at very young ages and all have had their share of performing on the same stage along with many industry legends.  The band is incredibly versatile – effortlessly performing cover songs from multiple genres and decades — and can keep it grooving with some 80’s & 90’s R&B/Funk and then explode with guitar wrenching Rock from the Hair Band days.  Their ability to also play the most current chart-topping hits solidifies this band’s ability to appeal to all flavors of musical taste buds!
