Welcome to the 2021 Virtual Arts and Crafts Marketplace Directory!
The NCCBF Arts and Crafts Fair showcases the talent of handcrafted products and designs of artisans from across the country encompassing the theme of the Cherry Blossom Festival. All of these artisans are independent artists, and revenue from craft show sales are the main source of income for many of these individuals. We miss inviting our vendors to share their crafts along Buchanan Mall, but we are grateful to include many of our long-term artisans who have supported our Festival for years.
Our 54th annual Festival theme is Kizuna – Strength through Bonds of Community and Friendship, and we want to celebrate the strength and resilience of our artisan community during current times. Although we are not holding an in-person festival this spring, you can show your support for the artisans by purchasing from many of them online!

3fish features the work of a micro-macrame artist producing fine jewelry incorporating various gemstones including coral, amber, garnet, peridot, and jade. My micro-macrame utilizes both silk and nylon which provides a very fine detail indeed.
3fish does not have a website, but would like to share the following message: "I always look forward to going to NCCBF every year to meet all of my customers in person, and they love buying my one of a kind jewelry. I will miss saying hello to all the friends working at NCCBF!"
6 Degrees of Hapa
6 Degrees of Hapa is all about celebrating mixed cultures through apparel, art, community building, and storytelling! The artist behind 6 Degrees of Hapa, Naomi Takata Shepherd, is based in San Jose, CA and started 6 Degrees of Hapa with just two t-shirt designs in 2011! Naomi draws inspiration for her art and apparel from her own Hapa identity and from Hawaiian imagery to honor that “hapa” is a Hawaiian word. When Naomi set out to create 6 Degrees of Hapa, she set out to create a brand that celebrates Hapas as individuals and the family, friends, and communities who help make us who we are. So why 6 Degrees of Hapa? Well, everyone’s connected to a Hapa!

Nikonina™ was created by BE ONE, a San Francisco based Design Studio. The collection was created by chief director Toshi Kume and his staff. His love and passion for the ocean and the tropical atmosphere became the inspiration for Nikonina. Our bags are cute with a unique Urban Island feel. Each bag has a Honu mascot, the Hawaiian Sea Turtle that brings happiness and long life.

Bonblissity sells luxury and inspired hand and body scrubs that transforms to lotion when rinsed off. My work as a dental hygienist demands that I wash my hands dozens of times every day. Unfortunately, squeaky clean hands often become painfully dry hands that lotions simply can’t tame. Being creative in the kitchen made it natural for me to combine some ingredients together and experiment. The "science-y" part of me took me to the internet to research the best ingredients to resolve my issues.

Designer Irene Arevalo Camerino takes beautiful kimonos and obis, damaged by normal wear, and upcycles them in new ways to preserve them and offer new generations an opportunity to enjoy their beauty and workmanship. She combines her sewing & design skills to create beautiful purses, pillows, wall hangings, and accessories.
Caroline Young Studios
My medium is watercolor, acrylic and gouache on Japanese silk. The technique is the labor-intensive "gongbi" style of traditional Chinese brush painting, whereby multiple light washes of color are applied in successive layers to build up the intensity of colors.

Handmade goods featuring authentic Japanese chiyogami papers. Some of the products include wooden jewelry, hair accessories, home decor, stationary, and other gifts/accessories. Everything is handmade by me in Santa Cruz, CA.

We are known for our flavored chocolate bars such as our Genmai, our truffles which includes lilikoi and kalamansi lime as well as our rice paddies. We have also brought back our seasonal favorite, Chocolate Pumpkin Bread, during the shelter in place mandate. NCCBF means to me the welcoming of spring and the sharing of Japanese culture and food in a fun and festive atmosphere. With the cancelling of this year's festival, next year the festivities will mean so much more for everyone.
