Mr. Motoi Takahashi has been creating woodblock art for over 40 years. Born in Nakajima, Matsuyama City, Japan, his early art expressed the serenity of his birthplace. Today, his art reflects the spirit of “simplicity and warmth” of traditional landscapes and contemporary ukiyo-e. Mr. Takahashi’s artwork has been exhibited throughout Japan. This is his first U.S. exhibition held at the Konko Church, 1909 Bush Street, Free admission.
